Julie's Bicycle at ADE Green

Returning for its third edition, ADE Green is a day filled with inspiring keynotes, interactive panels, practical solutions and debates on sustainability and social awareness in the music industry and music event production.

Julie’s Bicycle is curating a double panel on energy in collaboration with Chris Johnson of Powerful Thinking and inspired by our work on EE MUSIC, and running a Communicating Sustainability workshop as part of the programme. ADE Green is an official sub-conference of the Amsterdam Dance Event (ADE), presented by global events organiser ID&T and supported by Julie’s Bicycle (UK), the Green Music Initiative (DE), Green Events Nederland (NL) and the GO Group.

ADE Green wants to kick-start a global green dance movement by connecting pioneers in sustainability, world thought leaders, and the electronic music community – all packaged in 45 minute sessions to leave participants full of ideas on how to green their festivals and events.

The Amsterdam Dance Event (ADE) is the biggest club festival in the world for the whole spectrum of electronic sub-genres, featuring 300 events and 2,000 DJ's over five days in 80 clubs and venues across Amsterdam, attracting 300,000 visitors from around the globe. Alongside the festival ADE hosts multiple conference streams on a wide range of topics – including ADE Green.
